This is a lovely idea! Great job. Its simple to set up and really cool too. I hope to keep getting updates!

I like the look of it, but cannot actually rate it fairly because it will not install on my iPhone. The requirements state: iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad, with iOS 3.12+. I have the iPhone 3G with iOS4.0.1. Seems like it should work. When it does I will give it a better rating, Im sure.

Not compatible with ipod touch 4??? Uuhhhh......waste of time.

I have an original IPad. I downloaded the original version of the captioned app several years ago. Excellent. The most recent version came out compatible with the new versions. Thats nice. HOWEVER, I keep getting automatic "Updates" for the newer version which is NOT compatible with mine. The issue is that I CAN NOT get rid of the notification. How do I get rid of it!!??

We live many states away from our family. When we used this for story time tonight and the kids saw and heard grandma reading the story, their response was priceless! It is such a great idea and concept. Looks so nice on the iPad!

Great APP would go as far as to say best of its kind in the APP stores so far. Great for newbies like myself.

I downloaded this for my iPod touch but received a message that it was not compatible.

My Daughter has an ipod touch and My other daughter has my old iphone. This app is very cute. The other books are 7 dollars each and some are more expensive. Right now they are offereing a free one. So thats nice. Its cute and a great idea. The words are kinda small on the iphone. I couldnt read it, But I guess if you are reading TO your child they dont have to be able to see the words. This is probably GREAT for the Ipad. Anyway CUTE App, and its FREE SO why not TRY it !

I got this to read books on my IPOD!! Not laptop!!! Only one story with and ifing gpa and creepy girl!!!!

I am kinda amazed at the average to poor reviews. This is a beautiful app on the iPad. So far I have only recorded two free stories - one on my PC and the other on my husbands laptop (a Mac). Both easily downloaded from my A Story Before Bed account to my iPad. I had planned that my girls could listen to these stories when I am out of town on business trips (at least once a month), but they watch them all the time. Most of my family is in Australia, and we live in USA, so I am trying to encourage the aunts, uncles and grandparents to record some stories for us as well. The only issue I have (and I have already shared this with the company) is that right now I cant download from another account to my iPad very easily. The ability to share your bookshelf with others would be great.

I like the idea but it will not let me download any new books. Hopefully I can figure it out soon!

This app is AMAZING!! My husband is currently deployed and to be able to have him record stories to read to our kids is wonderful. Every night after we are tucked into bed we pull out my iPad, open the app and have Daddy read us a story. The kids love it and it allows Daddy to still be a part of our daily lives when he is gone. It works great on my iPad and iPod, my kids love it and I love that whenever they miss Daddy we can just pull him up and there he is! I recommend this to everyone that I know!

What a truly great app! It is easy to use and fun. Great graphics. Ive had a lot of fun recording and sharing stories on this site. I would highly recommend it.

I bought and recorded a book for my grands this week. I had so much fun doing it and will be taking a hint from the demo at the website and recording more with my grandchildren on my lap this weekend. So cute to have the interaction with the little ones. I was so impressed that I emailed all my friends and posted info on my Facebook page and have heard back from so many people thanking me for pointing them to the website. What a clever idea and when I needed to contact customer support - like a lot of Apps the help is available a most right away via email and they have live support via a phone number too. Thanks for a GREAT App. For those on Macs a little frustrating because the website uses Flash but it doesnt stop you recording and viewing books.
